KOLLEKTIV s/t orig German Green Brain Cosmic jazz psych Krautrock lp w/gimmix cover!
1973/German/Brain 1034…..here’s an original pressing of this ultra rare Krautrock lp. The gimmix cover has the fold over portion torn away but the actual moving parts on the inner gatefold is complete. The laminated gatefold cover is in nice VG+ condition, there is light shelf wear and scuffing, there is corner wear with paper missing from the corners, the numbered arrows inside the gatefold cover have the odd light crease, number 5 has a heavy crease across Kollektiv printing, number 6 has a similar heavy crease and damage but still intact, otherwise the cover is clean and solid with no splits or other issues. The vinyl is in VG condition with several very light scuffs/scratches, About the first three minutes of both sides play with light noise/crackle as the intros are quiet, after the music starts up on side one the record plays excellent with next to no noise and great fidelity, there is minor light crackle between the tracks, Same on side two with a bit of slight intermittent crackle in the second song, I listened to this record a couple of times. The worst is at the beginning of each side, otherwise the record plays great with no skips, sticks, loud clicks or jumps. I suspect it was hardly played if at all but unfortunately it got tossed around with no inner sleeve as the labels are clean and free of spindle marks. Not a top copy but very nice for the right person! Please check my auctions for other rock, funk, jazz, prog, soul and psych lp’s. Check back often as I will be listing some nice lp's all week! Clearly reminiscent of the ORGANISATION pre-KRAFTWERK sound mixed with the jazzy sound of EMBRYO, KOLLEKTIV plays a rather avant-garde music inspired by both elements of psychedelic music, electronics combined with Jazz interfits. The band was originally composed of Jogi Karpenkiel (bass) who joined the band "The Phantoms", an utterly pop band who changed their name to become the" Rambo Zambo Bluesband"," Bluesology" and finally ORGANISATION. Jogi Karpenkiel and Klaus Dapper (tenor/baritone/soprano saxes, flutes) got out of "Bluesology" to form the band "The Generals", which will later change their style and will finally start to be known as KOLLEKTIV when both Waldemar Karpenkiel (drums) and Jürgen Havix (guitar, sitar) joined them to form the definitive lineup.

MINT: I consider New Unplayed or Sealed items only.
M- or Mint Minus, very clean with clean visual appearance and sound, there may be a couple of light inaudible hairline scuffs or such and will be mentioned in the listing, a Mint- record looks and plays very clean. Same for the cover. Very clean with no delete or other issues.
EXCELLENT: between VG++ and M- , still very collectable for most, visually and sonicly clean. A handful of light inaudible scuffs, or hairlines. Cover will be clean with little wear, or delete. No splits.
VG++ still a very nice copy with minimal wear, the vinyl will retain it's original gloss and can have some minor scuffs/scratches that don't affect play very much. Cover will have slight shelf wear, and or delete, minor split.
VG+ the vinyl will still retain much original gloss with a bit more scuffs and/or scratches I may list a very rare or desirable item with a lower grade, I will try to list all defects.
