KOMA WETAN LP (Melodiya, 1990/USSR ORIGINAL!!)

Mythical holy grail FIRST KURDISH ROCK RECORD EVER, recorded in 1989 in Soviet Georgia and released in 1990 in an extremely limited edition of 2,000 copies only. Very catchy songs sung all in Kurdish, with some nice guitar and synth work throughout.

Condition: Record ranges from VG+ to G. The large discrepancy in grades is because side A has a few skips, while side B is a lot cleaner. It’s mostly quite clean overall, but I can’t make those skips not be there, unfortunately (maybe you can with some cleaning? I don’t know). Please check the above clip to judge the whole thing. The sleeve is VG, with the standard bends you find on all the Melodiya record sleeves due to the thin paper they used, and a little bit of staining on the back (see pic #2). Overall a decent package, and really couldn’t be rarer…when you consider that there are only 1,999 copies other than this one, this might actually be the best copy for sale right now. I know I’ve never seen another in 25+ years of collecting.

These fees are not set by me (as the seller, I don’t even get to see them), I don’t make any money off of them, and they are NOT NEGOTIABLE. Also, E-bay’s Global Shipping Program does not allow auction wins to be combined into one shipment. This means that if you win more than one auction for me, I will not be able to give you a combined shipping price, but will have to ship each item separately in its own box. Please do not do this, as it creates problems for me when I have to print out labels for the packages (sometimes E-bay does not allow me to print out the necessary number of labels). If you live outside of the USA and combine orders at the time of payment, I reserve the right to cancel the transaction if it causes problems. Please pay for each item separately!**
