Original press of this impossible to find old school rap that samples Leroy Burgess and Fonda Rae's immortal boogie classic "Over Like a Fat Rat". Smoly Hokes, this will bring a tear to your glass eye! (as my grandfather likes to say). Hate to sell it but wouldn't you know... money's too tight to mention.... and when you listen to the lyrics of Getting Over you will really feel how ironic it is that I'm selling this 12"! The collectors and boogie affeciandos are more obssessed with the b-side instrumental than the actual rap, but to be honest I think they're prejudiced on this one because both sides are insanely great and it's very very hard to pick which one I like more. But tonight I'm linking you to the instrumental just to appease my boogie brethren, enjoy!... Have a listen! Very scarce... do not miss this!
