KRAFTWERK 12" SINGLE : "Computer Love" b/w "The Model" 12 EMI 5207
1st UK pressing (1981) on the EMI label.
LIKE NEW copy of this electronic experimental gem. A rare collectible indeed.
"Computer Love" rocketed to number 1 on the UK Singles Chart, here pressed as the original extended 7 minute 15 second album version.
An interesting historical note: The melody of "Computer Love" was later used in Coldplay's song "Talk", with Kraftwerk's permission.
German band Kraftwerk pioneered a highly artistic era of electronic music.
The band, originally known as Organisation, debuted live at the Tivoli Popfestival in Aachen, Germany in July of 1970 and quickly thereafter developed an avid fan base.
Band leader Ralf Hutter is joined on this release by co-founder Florian Schneider, Karl Bartos and Wolfgang Flur.
