Here we have a very rare item in the electronic Krautrock genre from the wonderful Kraftwerk; their excellent Autobahn album as a demonstration copy, a sample LP not intended for sale and a German pressing on the Philips label as opposed to the Vertigo label which it came out on over here. There is no cover, only a poly-lined inner bag with the words Frank Diet on it; as it was a sample of the finished merchandise a sample such as this would simply serve as an example or the bare bones of what would be finally released. Basically, here's the music, this is what will sell this release. The first side has superb clear sound but there is staticky crackle at the start of side two. It would very probably improve after a deep clean by someone who knows what they're doing, I'll leave that to the winner, so come and have a look.
