Description

This is part of a large auction featuring mainly early Atlantic R&B/doo-wop 45's. There is lots of great stuff here including Ivory Joe Turner, Ruth Brown and some of the more obscure artists. There is also some cool bonus listings. Check back in a couple of weeks for another King/Federal auction.

Format: 45 rpm 7" single


Year: 1957


Notes: White label promo first pressing. The one and only single by this obscure group out of Washington DC who was discovered and backed on this single by Lloyd Price. A-side is a great track blending doo-wop and R&B elements.  B-side is a little bit more of a formulaic ballad, but good enough.


Vinyl Condition: VG+, The vinyl itself is in great shape with basically no wear at all - very clean. It sounds great with no skips/ticks/bumps, plays solidly VG+ with hardly any background noise at all. Labels are very clean as well with no tears or writing, but does have some light discoloration around the edges.
