Original pressing on the CARRRE Label (67519), from 70's. Very obscure Belgium funk Lp dedicated to Kung Fu from the ever impressive RKM studio session men! Serious beatheadz and Euro funk collectors already know the score with this seldom seen Lp (tons of breaks, beats, loops and funky DJ grooves!) but if you don't, then you definitely need this! Trax include MY CHINESE GIRL LIKES KUNG FU FIGHTING is a breakbeat fuelled, Afro-funk style gem built around some oddball 'Oriental' synth motifs and is the one beatheadz kill for due to the funky hip hop loop midway through! KUNG FU IS DEAD is a huge track for DJs! It's also a vocal version of the 'Turtle Soup' track that appears on the rarest Chackachas Lp! Hypnotic brass and strangely compulsive vocals over a faultless, funky groove! Great breakdowns from the drummer and rhythm section! There is a massive B-Boy style drum loop on the bass-heavy funk of KUNG FU N'KY, DO is pure breakbeat funk and YOUNG KUNG'S contains more wicked drum loops and bugged out, Yamasuki style female vocals! Believe us, there is lots more on here (just you wait until you hear the super-funky BROTHER) but we think you get the picture now?!? VG: A few light scratches and/or scuffs creating audible background noise. There is no skipping or jumping on this record unless indicated in the condition description.

A plus or minus (+ or -) denotes slightly better or slightly less than a grade, eg. VG+.
