Description
- Kyung Wha Chung, violin
- Philip Moll, piano
- "Con Amore"
This wonderful artist, Korean violinist, Kyung-wha Chung, has been widely acclaimed by critics and audiences since the '70s and the '80s & is ranked amongst the greatest of history. She has become one of the most characterful and best-loved modern violinists in the world. Her absolute commitment reveals her passion and her love for music. In her disdain for calculated show she stresses that she is not a virtuoso. This powerful humility is obvious even in her supreme playing of the most demanding & complex concertos that she serves with simple uncontrived grace, heartfelt feeling & benign authority. Here is a glorious "state of the art" banquet of audiophile recordings of shorter works chosen by Kyung Wha for this life-landmark recording & masterfully accompanied by Philip Moll (piano).

This is apparently one of the largest private archives of recorded greatest singers, violinists, cellists & world music in Ireland. The records are vertically filed & stored in dehumidified optimum temperature conditions in artificially lit space.. This is the first sale of many many rarities which will be listed in the near future. If there are items you seek especially, I can maybe find & list. Professionally retired now, I try always to be kind, concordant & fair. I've collected for posterity for >50 years, & from eBay for >20 years so it is now time to share some of the assembled rarities. Best Wishes from balmy South West Ireland.
