Richard Wagner: Der Ring des Nibelungen- Das Rheingold, Die Walküre, Siegfried, Götterdämmerung

Herbert von Karajan conducting the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra.With Vickers, Talvela, Janowitz, Ludwig, Stewart, Brilioth and many many more.

German Ed1 DGG stereo-pressings from the late 60s. Four separate boxes with 19LPs altogether.

Walküre (5LPs) & Rheingold (3LPs) have big tulip „Made in Germany“- labels, Siegfried (5LPs) & Götterdämmerung (6LPs) have first small tulip labels. All are presumed to be first or very early pressings, only the Walküre-box has a Grand Prix-sticker.


  • Condition Boxes: Strong EX . Minor general wear, some discolortaion to the spines.

  • Condition Vinyls: NM. Rheingold may have been played two or three times, the others once or never. Pristine condition, almost perfect set!

  • Condition Booklet: NM

About my record-grading:

All records are described as accurately as possible and I will always prefer a more detailed depiction of the actual status, but usually I’ll only visually grade the records.
