Description
Here is a great release on the Archiv label (ARC-73125/28) out of Germany. Richter conducts the Munich Bach Orchestra and Choir in a performance of Bach's The Passion of St. Matthew (Passio secundum Matthaeum). Featured vocal performaces by Hertha Topper, Ernst Haefliger, Keith EngenIrmgard Seefried, Max Probst and Dieter Fischer-Dieskau. Four-album boxed in cloth-bound box. Includes both orignal inserts.
Condition - The box shows light wear including some light staining, and some dents on top of the box. The box grades at VG+. The records are shiny with light signs of use. Most labels have some spindle marks, and while most vinyl looks nice, there are some light marks on a few sides. The records grade at VG+ to Near Mint Minus.
Regarding shipping - I ship quickly using new professional grade materials.
Regarding grading - I try to grade by Goldmine standards. I do not use the grade Mint on unsealed opened records. The highest grade I give to unsealed records is Near Mint. Grading here is strictly by sight.
