For sale is my signed copy of the 1985 UK Townhouse pressing of Kate Bush's Hounds of love, signed and in fantastic condition. I bought this second signed record years ago from a very dedicated and discerning Kate Bush fan when he was downsizing his collection. This is pretty special given its condition and age and the fact that it's signed.
First, the pressing. This is the Townhouse Mastering, Variant 4 of the 1985 printing of Hounds of Love.
The runout of side A is: EJ 2403841 A-1-1-1 TOWNHOUSE
The runout of side B is: EJ 2403841 B-6U-1-2 TOWNHOUSE

The condition of the record is pretty good. There are a couple of small scratches, but I don't think they'll have much effect. The record itself is a little dusty and I don't have the courage to really go at it, I don't want to risk it and I figure another collector will feel more confident.
There is a small crease in the bottom right corner of the jacket, which often happens when an artist is quickly signing something like a record. It's very minor and doesn't mar the experience. This has always lived in a clean, smoke free household. The center image is glossy and has no scratches, just a couple of very minor dents.
The spine of the record has the beginnings of a very small amount of splitting, but it hasn't pushed through, just a tiny amount of fraying. The head and foot are nice and smooth.
The corners are excellent, there are no major wrinkles or bends in the jacket. All in all, I think you'll agree it's in great condition for a collectible and would be wonderful to display.

This will be shipped in a large box, generously wrapped in bubble wrap and paper. I will send you photos the it as I'm packing it so you know how you'll receive the record.
I've tried my best to include lots of photos and describe what I see but please let me know if you have any questions or if you want photos of anything I haven't included.
All the things I'm selling come from my own collection that I've had for years, I'm just once again trying to pass on some things that others might enjoy. My household is clean and non-smoking.
As for shipping, I care about this stuff as much as you do so I take care to package things safely, especially collectibles, for which I know condition is very important. I also cannot ship internationally. I will under no circumstances ship to any other address but the one confirmed on your eBay and PayPal accounts.
Lastly, I don't want to end auctions early, I like the idea of giving people a fair window for everyone to encounter things like collectables.
