Very carefully stored and cared for from new till now.
Played when purchased new two or perhaps three times at most, very carefully stored and very well cared for since then.
When purchasing this new in 1985 and you got this home it came as expected with the vinyl popped inside the inner sleeve. This vinyl was immediately from then stored in a quality poly lined inner sleeve. This has since been changed to a high quality rice paper type inner sleeve. The vinyl is unmarked with the lovely sheen and shine clear to see. This really has been very well cared for - check the pictures.
The cover and printed inner sleeve are both bright and fresh with the cover showing no creases or seam splits, superb condition given this is now hitting 38 years old. Stored shelved and not exposed to light so no light fading or bleaching - again please check all the pictures.
A rare chance to pick up a truly excellent condition Kate Bush classic vinyl album in as close as possible to the same condition as it was in 1985, no tweaks remasters or reworks - just as it was originally released and sounded when issued almost 38 years ago.
This will be sent out packed properly to protect while in transit.

If you are looking at this from outside the UK please get in touch well before the auction ends but it will not be going via our UK Post Office so it may be rather pricey to send out overseasbut I only charge what the carrier takes to deliver this - no silly charges for handling and packing.

The Town House or Townhouse Studios was a recording and mastering studio complex in West London, built by Richard Branson and Ian Cooper in late 1978 as part of the Virgin Studios Group along with The Manor.
The Goldhawk building included 3 recording studios: studio 1, studio 2 and studio 4, the latter was built later and 2 cutting rooms equipped with Neumann VMS 80 Lathes, SX74 cutter heads and SAL74 Drive Amplifiers. In 1985 Townhouse added a VMS 82 for Direct Metal Mastering (DMM).
Lacquer cuts can be identified by "TOWNHOUSE" or "TOWN HOUSE" stamped or occasionally etched into the runouts.
DMM mastering's can be identified by "TOWNHOUSE DMM" or "TOWNHOUSE D.M.M." etched into runouts and occasionally just "TOWNHOUSE" etched combined with a stamped "D“ (plated or pressed by EMI Records) in the runouts.
