Description
Rareish Kate Bush The Red Shoes EMI vinyl album from 1993. First pressing matrices EMD 1047 A-1-1-1/B-1-1-1. This record is in superb condition which I have given an overall grading of Excellent +. The vinyl itself is glossy and unmarked and in close to near mint condition. I have played this record twice I think. Sounds beautiful. Labels are clean and unmarked. There are 4 spider lines around the spindle hole on side 2 I think which are not those due to frequent play but those that are sometimes seen even on new pressings. None around the spindle hole on the other side. Lovely inner sleeve with great artwork which is quite simply near mint, absolutely nothing wrong with it. Vinyl has been kept outside the inner in a Nagoya antistatic sleeve.
The slip cover is I would say in excellent condition, both back and front, there is a bit of rubbing to the top edge and the spine, not a spoiler at all imo. Would photograph but spine so thin that it is beyond my extremely limited skills with a camera. All I would say is that the name 'Kate' in the title along the spine has been rubbed out but the rest is fine and perfectly readable. Just giving you all the information. I have no hesitation in grading the cover as 'excellent'.
Opportunity to add this rareish vinyl to your Kate Bush collection. I often read that 'The Red Shoes' is one of Kate's weakest works but imo it is one of her best. That's my opinion and I'm sticking with it!
