UK music and other magazines, featuring Kate Bush on covers and containing interviews/articles with photos. Many run to several pages, most are full colour. All magazines in excellent condition unless otherwise stated. As all are complete, they give interesting context to what else was happening on the music scene at the time of publication.
I'm a Kate Bush fan since 1978, and am selling on many of the Kate related music magazines I've collected over the years as I no longer have room for them. The magazines are all in excellent condition, and complete unless otherwise stated. Details below:
Uncut Issue June 2010 Kate on cover, plus 8 and a half page full colour feature about Kate including a 25 years on retrospective about the mood around the creation of Hounds Of Love, the recording process, etc. There are also small featurettes by Roy Harper, John Lydon, Tricky and others about why they like Kate's music and how she influences them. This is a superb article, very informative. Contains lovely colour photos. Please note the free CD is no longer attached to the front cover, does not affect the Kate content.
MOJO June 2011 Kate on cover, 11-page full colour interview, with many unusual photos. Kate discusses Director's Cut, and specifically James Joyce's Ulysses and obtaining the rights to the words she used on The Sensual World. Also includes a track by track Q&A session with Kate, full album discography with colour photos, musicians Tricky talking about Army Dreamers, Anthony/Anoni talking about The Kick Inside (song) and author David Mitchell discussing A Coral Room. There's also a half page item entitled 'Strange Phenomena'featuring some of the rarer Kate collectables. A lovely interview and feature.
VOX Issue November 1983 Kate on cover, 4-page interview including a full colour, full page photo montage, Q&A session, black and white photos, and full discography from Wuthering Heights to The Red Shoes. Please note the free CD is not included, but does not affect Kate related content.
Company issue January 1982 A hard to find magazine issue. Kate features on the cover, and there's an exclusive 3-page interview with photos. Kate talks about her life in music, her future plans etc. (Apologies for photo flash on cover). Other content: lots of interesting items about fashion, a knitting pattern, etc.
Will be posted by Royal Mail 2nd Class Signed For in protective packaging, multiple purchases will be boxed and postal discount made where applicable. I have had to add postage costs or I'd be giving these away free. Still good value per item and cheaper than others on eBay.
