Kathe Green “ run the length of your wildness” LP DES 18026.
Side two features the title song, which should have been on a Nuggets Compilation! As a matter of fact this LP is an example of the power of marketing and publicity and proves without a doubt that talent doesn’t have anything to do with success in the marketplace as far as the music world is concerned.
This is a very English recording that was made ; da with a great deal of care including lush Nick Drake-like orchestral passages.
This lp is worth owning musically if only for “Only A Fool “ and the title track “ Run The Length Of Your Wildness “, as both tracks are wonderful slices of ear candy that should have been hit songs. However, the album in total is the best way to listen IN as it appears to be a concept record.
This LP was cleaned by a new machine called a DeGritter. Though I had to take this LP to a local record store and pay $5 it was worth it. I state this fact for the vinyl community as a whole to benefit both buyers and sellers.
This record means a lot to me .
I want it to go to the right person ! A fan - someone who will never sell it let alone return it. Before purchasing go to YouTube and watch them perform and listen to their music.
This is a masterpiece & is up there with bands like the Kinks and The Beach Boys.
