Katie Crippen--Black Swan 2018--1924
Original 78 rpm record, Black Swan 2018, Katie Crippen With Henderson's Novelty Orchestra, That's My Cup Blues b/w When It's Too Late [You Gonna Miss Me Daddy]. Recorded in New York, June 1924. Playing surface is dull from use with average background noise, but actually plays better than it looks. Minor soiling to label center on A side, otherwise no damage to labels. No chips, cracks, or other damage to record. Backing orchestra was led by the immortal Fletcher Henderson. Still a nice example of early 20s blues on the first Black-owned record label in the USA and is in Good Plus [G+] condition. Any questions please feel free to ask.
78 RECORD SHIPPING PROCEDURE: Record is placed in a heavy duty plastic bag, then sleeved between three pieces of stiff cardboard on each side, securely taped to prevent movement. Sleeve is then double bubble wrapped and securely taped. Entire assembly is then placed in a stout, well-marked box for shipping. Will be happy to combine shipping on multiple records.
