Description
KEEF HARTLEY BAND: Halfbreed. Used vintage gatefold LP in Very Good+/Very Good condition; Deram/London Records Catalog # DES 18024 Stereo; 1969
Condition: Vinyl Very Good+, heavyweight, a hairline scratch, excellent overall; Packaging has minor flaws: a little shelf wear, slight crease at lower left of jacket seen from front, slight “ring impression” on back of jacket. Includes original paper inner sleeve promoting other London releases.
You still don’t see all that many bands led by a drummer. This was one, back in the day, a bluesy set with some original tunes. Features a horn section on some tracks. The statement “John Mayall appears by kind permission of…” is not accompanied by info on which selections he participates on. Oh well, no one’s perfect, or so I’ve heard. “Born to Die” grabbed my attention when I first heard this album on FM radio way back when.
