Description
Ex/Ex original UK pressing of this classic, funky library LP from 1976 on the Conroy label, entitled New Dimension. The composer is Keith Mansfield.
Undoubtedly one of the best LPs in the Conroy series, featuring the lush and funky ‘Before Summer Ends.’ The band on these sessions is incredible – among the musicians were Steve Gray and John Taylor (keyboards), Chris Rae (guitar), Brian Odgers (bass guitar), Barry Morgan (drums), Pete King (alto sax), and Brian Smith (tenor sax), while Derek Watkins and Tony Fisher were in the trumpet section. What a line-up!
The sleeve is in great shape. In the top right-hand corner of the rear sleeve, someone has neatly written “1st copy” in biro.
The vinyl looks to be a decent Ex, with only some superficial surface marks under a bright light. There are some fingerprints on both sides of the vinyl, which a light clean would easily remove.
