Description

Here is "Hard Hitter" by Keith Papworth on the Music De Wolfe library label from the UK.  This is not the original press, but an obscure reissue from several years ago.  Hands down one of the greatest funky library records to come out of England in the 1970s.  Track after track of wicked spy funk with slinky bass lines and  huge hip hop breakbeats.. there must be 8 or 10 HUGE breaks on the whole album.  Can you really go wrong with tracks like "Speed Trap", "Hair Raiser", and "Hard Hitter".  This is some heavy XXXX and nearly impossible to find in the original.  Sometimes you can find the original, but it often has a promo cover instead of original (my own copy is an original de wolfe with white sleeve and de wolfe promo stamp).  This is not modeled after the original cover, but instead has more of a promo/bootleg feel with a white sleeve and a sticker at the top (see photo).  This record is no less than amazing and gets my top recommendation.  Less than half of what an original might cost you (if you could find one) and in top condition.  The labels are plain white with a couple of light spindle marks on either side.  The vinyl and sleeve are in EX condition with just light wear.  Vinyl has some very light marks and sounds great with some trace surface noise in a few spots.  Sleeve has light wear at two corners.  8 out of 10.  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.  Shipping to the United States by Media Mail will be $4.  If you prefer Priority Mail the cost would be $7.  Shipping to Canada by First Class International Mail will be $8.  Shipping to the rest of the world by First Class International Mail will be $15.  Thanks for looking!
