Description
- Kendoe 1986 Bernie Grundman Mastering Reference Acetate & Promo 12" Vinyl Record.
- Kendoe Chillin Out is a rap song. One side is the 12" version (5:14) and other side is 7" version (4:12) I couldn't find any info on this act online. I called and also had a nice email exchange with the recording studio. Their records from this era were not very good and Bernie Grundman who is now 78 did not remember this act.
- I did confirm this was made at his studio and that the Sharpie writing on sleeve was typically done by the engineer. The sleeve is dated 10-12-86 and the acetate is dated 9-11-86.
- I asked why the acetate is cloudy and some of the black is falling off. I was told they were made only to last a few plays. I did drop a needle on the acetate and it does play but is not complete due to some parts falling off. I did test the promo copy and it does not skip but does have some scratches Sleeve shows wear.
- Again the acetate is damage and is sold as is for a collectors item. See all 12 photos.
