Yes, we all know about "Risin'", but the rest of this album deserves a mention, especially "Hang Tight," "Can't get Enough," & "Changes". Also of note this was recorded at legendary studio SIGMA SOUND, and a lot of the musicians, vocalists, & engineers on this album also worked on all those great Philly productions recorded there in the 70's.
Keni started his career as bass player with Five Stairsteps.
After the group disbanded, he became a solo artist and successful session musician.
His track "Risin' To The Top" became an anthem for 80s UK soulsters.
Risin' To The Top was sampled in 102 songs!
