A wonderful challenge, the LP features a faultless backdrop of orchestration by Gil Evans, but all against Burrell taking on every kind of guitar style.  In order of appearance, he delivers traditional blues, flamenco, modern blues, classical, bossa nova, Spanish and Latin ballad, folk, modern ballad, and modern jazz.

Whatsmore, it's all recorded by Rudy Van Gelder.  A beautiful thing, first note to last: In a jacket without fault; record inside should play near mint.
