Description

Kenny Burrell (with Paul Chambers, Candido, Tommy Flanagan, Kenny Clarke) INTRODUCING Blue Note 1523, recorded 1957?  Deep Groove mono original.  Lexington Ave addresses on labels; 61st Street on jacket. “RVG” cut into the wax.  Ear is not present, but 2 adjacent squiggles that have some of the same curvatures; this is true for both sides. Jacket fields are excellent.  Back cover paper has a 1cm paper tear on upper right, and the paper in that corner was also bent back slightly.  Corners are all white—but just a little bit, and are strong and intact. E+ overall. Disc looks E+ or better.  Plays E+ overall:  very quiet play surface with a little bit of dust crackle in the opening track of each side.
