Description
Kenny Burrell Midnight Blue - Blue Note 1423 Mono Pressing. NOT a deep groove. Vinyl has been play tested and is probably G+ to VG- overall but a few tracks are noisier and some groove wear is evident. Track by Track report as follows: 1) CHITTLINS CON CARNE - Very light pops and surface noise. Slight groove wear distortion, but not distracting. 2) MULE - Very little in the way of pops or surface noise. Slight groove wear distortion, mostly evident (but not overly distracting) on lead guitar and tenor sax solo. 3) SOUL LAMENT - Very light surface noise. Groove wear distortion is prominent on guitar. 4) MIDNIGHT BLUE - Very light surface noise. Groove wear distortion is evident but not through entire track and not as evident as on Soul Lament. 5) WAVY GRAVY - Several light pops in beginning of track and very light groove wear distortion, but it never overpowers the track. 6) GEE BABY AIN'T I GOOD TO YOU - Very light surface noise and light pops scattered throughout. Pops at end of track are more prominent. 7) SATURDAY NIGHT BLUES - Light surface noise and pops. Pops are frequent about halfway through track and then rest of track is quiet. Some groove wear distortion is evident, but not overpowering. Most noticeable on lead guitar. Jacket 1/2" split at bottom near opening, otherwise light dings, stains and wear. Picture is self explanatory. Will be shipped with original Blue Note inner sleeve as well as MoFi archival sleeve. NO INTERNATIONAL BIDS. THANKS.
