TITLE: On View at The Five Spot
CONDITION:
Sleeve: The front cover is VG++ w/ great visual presence and nice lamination w/ just some light wear. It also has a little light lamination edge chipping at the bottom of the opening side. Also has 2 radio station stickers at the top left corner. The back cover is VG++ as well w/ a little light ring wear and a radio station stamp. Has some bottom seam wear w/ some paper loss and a 1" bottom right corner split. The top seam has a little wear at the corners and 1/2" loss of paper at the left corner. The spine is pretty much intact w/ a couple of tiny nicks and nice readable graphics. Finally it has a small piece of radiio station filing tape at the bottom of the spine.
Record: Beautiful!! Looks Mint- w/ just a few light surface scuffs. I play graded this entire LP. Side A plays Mint-. Side B plays almost Mint- w/ just a few very light background ticks at the beginning of Side B from a very tiny pressing bubble and a few revolutions of very light background surface noise at the end of Track 2, Side B. Great Van Gelder sound! / VPI cleaned / Has a radio station stamp on Side A
COMMENTS: Nice copy of this Blue Note classic that features the great Tina Brooks on tenor sax. This mono copy has a deep groove New York USA label with RVG (Rudy Van Gelder) stamp and "Ear" in the dead wax. Back cover address is 47 West 63rd St., New York 23
NOTE: VPI cleaned means that this record was cleaned on a professional $500 VPI cleaning machine, which does wonders for the playback of all vinyl records!
