Description

This is Riverside Records RLP 12-239, Kenny Dorham Jazz Contrasts, a deep groove, white label original mono issue of this classic record featuring Sonny Rollins. The record is in near mint condition showing almost no signs of wear and playing quietly throughout. Remarkable considering the condition of the cover. The cover has severe water damage causing some light waves and discoloration and also has plenty of clear tape which is no longer clear because of the water damage. However, the cover remains intact. The labels have tape and tape residue with light spindle marks. The record was played on a Linn Sondek LP12 in mono mode and cleaned on a VPI 17. If it is possible for you to accept the cover damage, this is an excellent collector's grade copy of a beautiful original mono recording.
