Up for auction is a SEALED 2009 Blue Note (Music Matters) 2 x 45 rpm release of Kenny Dorham's legendary live sextet lp,"Round About Midnight at the Cafe Bohemia'".  Recorded on May 31, 1956, this lp is the quintessential live hard bop lp. Features maybe the first recorded efforts of Bobby Timmons, a vastly underrated piano player. Also features Kenny Burrell as a sideman guitarist, and J.R. Monterose on tenor sax - a somewhat rare appearance on Blue Note for the great (and underrated) Monterose. Absolutely essential release, with amazing fidelity on this mono repress.

Play grade is done on a Thorens TD 165 through Yamaha amplification and JBL reference headphones (treble set high so there will be no surprises when you get the item). 
ALL ITEMS WILL BE SHIPPED WITH PROPER MAILERS AND EXTRA PADDING, PARTICULARLY AT THE CORNERS. I HAVE MADE FAR TOO MANY PURCHASES ON EBAY WHERE THE ITEM HAS ARRIVED WITH DINGED CORNERS DUE TO INADEQUATE PACKAGING MATERIAL. BY USING FOLDED BUBBLE WRAP IN ALL FOUR CORNERS, YOU CAN BE ASSURED OF AN ITEM WITHOUT DINGED CORNERS (OR DAMAGE OF ANY KIND FOR THAT MATTER).             Non-tracked shipping throughout the U.S.A will be $13 CANADIAN per item, as will tracked shipping within Canada. Tracked shipping to the U.S.A. will be $16 CANADIAN for items under 500g, and slightly more for items over 500g. Most single sleeve items can be shipped as under 500g. Gatefolds and multi-sets will be over 500g. 
Being a reasonable person, I will be absorbing ALL of the shipping material cost, and some of the actual postage cost.
