Description
This is Blue Note 1524, a deep groove Lexington label LP: Kenny Dorham 'Round About Midnight At The Cafe Bohemia. The cover is G+ in my estimation with bottom seam that is 3/4 split and general wear, 2" side seam split, a tear on back, some discoloration, and a name stamp on back. The LP looks about G but actually plays surprisingly well: at least VG (a non-distracting crackle - the famous fidelity is still intact) except for the fact that there is one repeating skip in "Mexico City" that actually would make a great sample as it's timed so perfectly it took ten revolutions for me to notice that it wasn't changing. Still, samples aside, a skip is never a positive. So that's the scoop. Great title but not perfect for sure.
