Description
Released in a heavy card cover, and a Liberty company inner sleeve. Original US Blue Note issue, pressed on heavy wax and O.G. "division of Liberty" credits. Ornately manufactured with a glossy front and matte paper back, showing Nat Hentoff's timeless liner notes.
A loveletter to Brazil by trumpeter Kenny Dorham that gives room for Joe Henderson and Herbie Hancock's masterpiece performances in Latin/Afro-cuban samba style. Damn good drumming by the always precise Tony Williams which sounds remarkable played off these top-grade deep Blue Note grooves.
Record has some scratches and abrasions. VG. Has been used. Plays excellently with a low, indistinct running noise and stunning sound quality.
The top-notch quality pressing makes most passages on this LP play seamlessly.
Cover has minor storage wear on the front. Top seam has some wear with small tears and indistinct clear tape repair. Holds solid with a good spine. Back has some light water marks and signs of age.
