Description
Hello! This is a listing for a copy of the album Undercurrent by Kenny Drew on Blue Note, catalogue number BLP 4059. This is the very rare original 1961 US pressing with the 47 West 63rd address Blue Note labels with the deep groove on Side 2 and with "RVG", the Plastylite "ear", and "9M" in the runouts. The record with this copy has some strong scuffing and scratching to it and plays with a fair amount of background noise but no skips or sticks on my setup. The cover has tearing, scuffing, scratching, staining, writing, and other similar general wear and tear to it. This release notably features excellent performances from the likes of noteworthy jazz musicians Freddie Hubbard, Hank Mobley, Sam Jones, Louis Haynes, and Kenny Drew himself.
