Description
Great find for jazz collectors: this is the UK 1st pressing on MGM from 1958, engineered by Joe Meek.
The delicate sleeve with the amazing Joan Miro artwork front cover is in surprisingly good shape for a 62-year-old item: a little ringwear, some minor edge creasing and a bit of laminate lift on the spine, and that's it. It easily grades VG++ to EX.
The vinyl has some marks, hairlines and scuffs but the audio is excellent with just the occasional pop to remind you of its age.
The labels are excellent, as is the original poly lined inner sleeve.
You'll struggle to find another copy, let alone one in better condition.
