Description
This is one of only three (3) "approval pressings" provided to the producers prior to pressing the retail records. Their purpose was to allow the producers to make changes or give the go ahead with the full commercial production. This is a standard practice in record production, but approval copies rarely leave the possession of the producers.
The approval disc has a blank label ( listing the recording only by a code ) and is in black vinyl. The records produced for retail are in transparent blue vinyl. The album jacket is the same as the retail record, BUT is not numbered . ( The retail copies are each numbered, 1 through 300 ).
A copy of the retail album ( number 22 of 300 ) in blue vinyl is included as part of this package. A pair ( approval and retail copies ) of this album will not appear again. This package is a one-time offer from the producer.
The album "Real Live" was recorded live by an FM radio station ( "The Texas Music Hour " ) in the late 1980's . This record is the last issued by Kenny and the Kasuals original band and represents the "book end" of the band's recording career that began in 1966 with the now legendary IMPACT album.
