Kevin Ayers - Joy of a Toy UK 1969 1st Harvest SHVL 763 Psych Prog Rock NO EMI LP
Rare UK 1969 1st Pressing, on the Harvest 'No EMI' Label, SHVL 763 A-1 B-1
Visually under very bright light, the vinyl has a nice bright sheen, has some light wispy play and paper scuff traces, and long hairline trace to side 1 (which doesn't affect the audio). The record has been cleaned on my Okki Nokki machine, and plays bright bold crisp and clear. There is a little minor surface noise in places (particularly to quietest passages), a number of minor ticks and clicks here and there. Doesn’t detract much from an enjoyable audio experience, generally, plays well with no particular audio flaws. Audio Overall – VG+
The labels are clean, a number of light spindle traces VG+
The laminate gatefold Sleeve is a nice example, a little minor wear only, see photos EX-/EX
