Hi, my name is Tommy and I’ve been collecting records for many, many years now. I’ve taken the hard decision to sell off some of my collection, so I can concentrate my collection in one specific area. So please look at my other listings. Listed here is a RARE album by Kevin Ayers titled Whatevershebringswesing. This is a UK Original 1st Pressing on Harvest SHVL 800. This stereo copy is pressed on the very collectable progressive Harvest label. This a great record by former ‘Soft Machine’ man Kevin Ayers, contains the fantastic track ‘Stranger in Blue Suede Shoes’. The textured Gatefold sleeve is printed by ‘Garrod & Lofthouse’. Also has the early matrix numbers.
Matrix numbers: SHVL 800 A-1 / SHVL 800 B-1
VINYL - Both sides of the record are in EX+ condition. Tiny trace of light/minor background noise/static, which is only really noticeable on the run-ins/outs and between the tracks, and even then it’s barely noticeable. NO Skips, NO Jumps, NO Sticking. Couple of light pops. There are a couple of hairline scratches, which don’t affect the sound quality, NO Clicks. Vinyl still has that lovely glossy shine to it, sounds superb!
SLEEVE - The Textured Gatefold sleeve is in VG+ condition. Tiny trace of spine wear (text is all readable), trace of edge wear. NO Tears or rips, NO splits, there are a few light creases. NO Ring wear. There is a little writing inside the opening (where you slide the record into), but this cannot be seen from the outside, so doesn’t affect the appearance really.
Labels - The labels are in EX+ condition. Tiny trace of spindle marks, NO Writing, pen marks or Graffiti.
Inner – The inner is in EX condition. NO Tears, NO Rips, NO Writing, pen marks or Graffiti.
(note: never grade Mint as I believe once it’s been played, even just once it’s no longer Mint)
