Description

This is my UK pressing of My Bloody Valentine's Isn't Anything LP that I bought Waterloo Records in Austin, Texas back in college.

This is the UK pressing, the dead wax reads "CRELP 40-A-2" on Side A.

THE GOOD:

This record has been played less than 20 times. I played the record today. The record has a low noise floor. There are some occasional pops here or there, but the record tracks and plays nicely. I use a vintage SHURE 95 cartridge with a Jico HE stylus at 1.25 tracking weight with no problems.

The records retains a high gloss. You can see this in the pictures. If you see what looks like a blurry white spot, that is the reflection from the acoustic ceiling and not a spot on the record.

I examined this record under sunlight and saw one faint paper scuff and some very faint hairlines.

The label is in great shape. There is no dents from having missed the post when putting the record in the turntable.

THE BAD:

Look at the cover. Towards the top, you can see where the platter has put a little pressure on the jacket, and how the jacket shows the platter (ring wear).

There are small dings on some of the corners.

Look along the edge where the platter goes into the sleeve, and you will see some minor dings along the edge.

Finally the platter put pressure on the top of the jacket and you can see where it tried to push through. This was the only copy they had when I bought the record.

At one point I began storing my records in resealable plastic sleeves with the record outside the jacket and I will ship the record this way.

I went into detail about the various issues because I want you to know exactly what you're buying.

This is a clean, nice pressing that has been owned by one person (me) that takes care of his records.
