Very nice 1st press gatefold copy of Khan's 'Space Shanty' on the Deram label.

Vinyl and sleeve are both in great condition.
Gatefold sleeve is still fully intact, and has some minor shelfwear, with some minor ringwear on the back. Spine is still fully intact, but does have some creasing. There are no tears, rips, holes or writing.
Vinyl is in excellent condition, still glossy. It has a few very minor smudges but nothing that affects playback. There are no pops, clicks, hisses, jumps, interruptions etc

Issued in 1972, 'Space Shanty' was the first-and-only album by Khan, a Canterbury-style psychedelic/progressive rock outfit formed by guitarist Steve Hillage (Gong) and keyboardist Dave Stewart (National Health, Hatfield & The North).
Khan were Hillage's (and Stewart's) second group after the short-lived acid-rock outfit Arzachel (also known as Uriel), and was his last project before he travelled over to France to join up with Gong.
A winning mixture of space rock, prog and psychedelia, 'Space Shanty' initially sold poorly, but has since become a cult classic after being rediscovered on CD in the 1990's, and now ranks amongst Hillage's most popular works.
As well as prog rock luminaries Hillage and Stewart, 'Space Shanty' also features bassist Nick Greenwood (The Crazy World of Arthur Brown, Nick Greenwood's band) and drummer Eric Peachey (Dr. K's Blues Band).
Fans of Gong, Steve Hillage's solo work and the Canterbury scene in general, are advised to check out this excellent album.
