VIK Records (4X-0211) 1956 rockabilly 45 rpm single release from JOE CLAY. Tracks are: DUCK TAIL / SIXTEEN CHICKS.
It's one of the must-have killer rockabilly two-siders from the RCA subsidiary label.
VG- condition. The grading is heavily weighted to the visual. It still has a lot of lustre but has some light sleeve scuffs and a few micro-scratches that would normally grade to a VG. The grade is dropped a notch as DUCK TAIL has a couple heavier scuffs across it. Fortunately, everything is superficial and does not affect play. Both sides play through to a higher grade that you could spin out in public with no problem. The sound files are from the offered 45 tracked at two grams. There are a couple hard to see initials on The SIXTEEN CHICKS side but otherwise pretty clean labels and a VIK 45 sleeve. Overall, there are some cosmetic problems but you get a great player with nice lustre and pretty clean labels. Buyer pays $3.50 First Class shipping in the U.S. Overseas Airmail is $12.75.
