KILLER SOVIET FUNK- MOOG ORGY! Russian Synth LP BREAKS! DISCOTHEQUE "A" - by "RHYTHM GROUP" on Melodiya Records (C60-14657). MY LAST COPY and it's probably UNPLAYED!!!!!!!!!!!!!.....This is the second copy out of my personal collection...I have to sell it because I need the money. I WILL NOT BE SELLING ANY MORE COPIES OF THIS RECORD IN THE NEAR FUTURE. Not until I return to Russia to get more copies. Get ready for the HARDEST GROOVIN' SOVIET FUNK ever! This ultra rare 1970's Soviet album has a track that funks like..my GooooD!!! We were astonished to discover that Herbie Hancock actually had THIS MUCH influence in Russia and east-block countries. And we were delighted to find out that Bolshevistic Funksters had a PERVERSE LOVE FOR ULTRA ABSURD FAT MOOG SOUNDS, produced by the Soviet-made 'SYNTESIZORS'. Yippyyyyy!!!! This is an obscure album of instrumental versions of songs by the ultra popular Soviet singer Alla Pugachova, who now-a-days even has her own shoe brand. But this was the 70's. And this was the studio band of Alexander Avilov, and finally they had the chance to record what they REALLY WANTED.... Killer break beat, devastating organs, and the track ends in a unimaginable MOOG ORGY. Wow!!! KILLER FLOOR FILLER!!!! Contains great breaks. Not all tracks on the album have great melodies, but the whole side B is actually a 19 minute long fat funk track. And in the hardest funking part the fat part is so long that it is a whole track in itself: 4 minutes!! Full 70's sound in Soviet vein! EMAIL ME IF YOU WANT AN MP3 SAMPLE....... The condition of vinyl is MINT (probably UNPLAYED). The condition of the cover is EXCELLENT (sorry for the blurry photo). This record has sold on eBay for between $150.00 - $210.00 many times.
