Outstanding copy of this record from some genuine post punk pioneers.    It's the gatefold version pressed by the Specialty Records Corporation in 1987.  The vinyl itself is near mint.  The cover is in excellent condition with only some very minor corner wear.   The original plastic inner liner is included, but I have added an upgraded Hudson Hi-Fi inner Sleeve.

Please note - records are placed inside their upgraded inner sleeve, and next to (not inside of) the album cover.  Then both portions are placed in the clear poly outer sleeve.  This helps prevent ring wear and seam splits and the plastic outer sleeve provides you a means to protect the record from damage while in your collection.

My RECORD grading is based on the following scale:  (Please note that eBay allows for an EX grading.  If you see this grading used, I have done so to indicate a condition that falls between NM and VG+ - or what other might call VG++ )
Mint (M): Absolutely perfect in every way. It has never been played and is often still sealed. This grade is rarely used for opened records, as even minor handling can disqualify it.
Near Mint (NM or M-): A nearly perfect record that looks like it was just opened for the first time. It should have no visible defects and play without any surface noise.
Very Good Plus (VG+): Often the preferred grade for collectors, these records show slight signs of wear (like light scuffs or very light scratches) that do not affect the listening experience.
Very Good (VG): Visible signs of wear are more pronounced. Surface noise will be evident during soft passages or between tracks but will not overpower the music.
Good (G) / Good Plus (G+): In the record world, "Good" is actually a low grade. It will play through without skipping but has significant surface noise, visible groove wear, and likely a worn cover.
Poor (P) / Fair (F): Records in this condition are badly warped, cracked, or skip during playback. They are generally only worth keeping if they are incredibly rare.
My COVER grading is based on the following scale.
Mint (M): Absolutely perfect in every way. The cover should have no creases, stains, writing, or seam splits. It often implies the record is still sealed or was handled with extreme care only once or twice.
Near Mint (NM): Nearly perfect, looking as if it was just brought home from a store and the shrink wrap was removed. It has no creases, folds, or seam splits. Very minor shelf wear or tiny impressions from the record's edge may be acceptable.
Very Good Plus (VG+): The cover shows light signs of handling but was well-cared for. It may have minor ring wear, slightly "dog-eared" corners, or a small seam split (typically less than one inch) at the bottom. Cut-out markings are common in this grade but disqualify it from being Near Mint.
Very Good (VG): Clearly used with more pronounced defects. Expect obvious ring wear where the ink is starting to wear off, visible seam splits (often repaired with tape), and potentially some writing or price stickers.
Good (G) / Good Plus (G+): The cover will have significant flaws that start to "overwhelm" the artwork. This includes heavy ring wear, large seam splits on the bottom or spine, and substantial writing or tape damage.
Poor (P) / Fair (F): Heavily damaged, torn, or water-damaged. It may be split on all three seams and barely hold the record inside. These are typically considered "filler" copies or trash unless the item is extremely rare.
