  • Item: Here's a rarity for the serious jazz record collector... Miles Davis, Kind Of Blue, Mono, 6-Eye Logo, "1" matrix, "Adderly" typo on front cover, wrong song order back cover, and most importantly -- the combo of "CBS" printed on label underneath "Columbia" AND this being a mega rare non deep groove pressing despite the Six-Eye label! From the net: “The presence or absence of deep groove is often a signal of earlier pressings on some labels, like Blue Note. However in the case of Kind of Blue Six-Eye, almost all the Six-Eye mono’s are deep groove (example, left) and very few non-DG (example, right)…” ~London Jazz Collector site. In the world of record collecting, variants are always more than interesting, and especially rarities associated with this title featuring John Coltrane!
