Elvis Presley was an American singer, musician, and actor. He is referred to as "The King of Rock and Roll". His career began in 1954 at Sun Records in Memphis, Tennessee. He had a rockabilly style with a fusion of country music and rhythm and blues. Elvis became commercially successful in many genres, including movies, pop, blues, and gospel. He is a supreme figure with no comparisons. Elvis Presley is one of the most recognized and famous people in the world! "King Creole" is a 7" picture sleeve EP by RCA Victor #EPA-4319. It is an original movie soundtrack recording from one of Elvis' better movies. "King Creole" ranks among the best of his songs. In 1958 when it was first released, it had a completely original sound. Stiff cardboard cover has a 3" seam split along the top edge. Vinyl is in very good+ condition. Elvis is still the king!
"The Best of Elvis" was the last Elvis LP issued on the His Master's Voice (HMV) label, and the catalog would be deleted in September 1958. This is a UK 10" LP which entered the UK charts on October 26, 1957, peaking at #3. HMV, #DLP 1159, MONO. The cover is in very good condition with a 2" seam split.
