Description
Hi there,
This a rather unique auction for TWO King Crimson Albums, viz. "In The Court Of The Crimson King AND Larks' Tongue In Aspic" UK Double Vinyl LP, on the Polydor Record Label, Cat. No. 2683 080, issued as a Polydor Double Pack on behalf of E.G. Records after the band had moved on from Island Records. The original actual album release dates are credited as 1969 & 1973 & have different catalogue numbers. I bought this set on release around 1979.
The Original Gatefold Sleeve has a bit of wear especially along the top seams but is still very substantial & must rate at least around Very Good - - Condition.The Inner Sleeves are fine if slightly age discoloured.
I have played these albums from beginning to end. The records look to be in Very Good - Condition & do play at least pretty well throughout, a most enjoyable & rather excellent listen. Larks' Tongue has been played less than In The Court & as a result is sonically superior. There is some surface noise & crackling in quieter moments but no distortion. The albums really are still very decent.
I am an avid record collector of over 45 years & plan to downsize at least a little at a time. I will not make exaggerated claims on any music.
I will not sell what I would not accept as perfectly decent for myself & will try to abide by the Record collector Grading system.
I will clean all vinyl to a most decent standard.
P&P is for 2nd Class RM Standard though you may wish to pay 50p extra for 1st Class or collect in person for free. I will combine P&P for the cheapest available option.
It would be useful if you do win an item could please tell me if you are considering bids on other items. Other than that prompt payment within 3/4 days would seem to be most fair.
The buyer MUST inform me if you require any other postage, recorded delivery, insurance etc as I have only listed the most basic economic option. I always retain Certificates of postage.
This item comes from a smoke & pet free home.
I will allow this auction to run its course so please do not ask for a Buy It Now Price as I consider this to be unfair to other prospective bidders.
