King Crimson "In the Court of the Crimson King" LP on pink Island label

ORIGINAL FIRST UK PRESS FROM 1969

Catalogue number: ILPS-9111

Matric numbers: Side 1 - ILPS 9111  A?2  1 2 10  Side 2 - ILPS 9111  B//4  11  13

The vinyl is in superb condition and retains much of its original sheen. It looks beautiful under normal lighting although under very strong lighting there are some hairlines and minor light marks. It is clear, however, from observing the centre label, that the record has been played many times. We, ourselves, have play tested the record and there is some occassional light background crackle, for example at the beginning of side 1 which is a quieter song and therefore possibly noticeable. This is not continual and does not in any way spoil enjoyment of this fantastic record. For this reason we have graded the vinyl as VG (very good).

The first press, non-laminated gatefold sleeve is in VG condition with some minor wear to the side and top spine and the smallest of marks on the front cover - please see photos. This is the original sleeve printed by EJ Day.

Comes in original polylined inner sleeve.
