King Crimson In The Court Of The Crimson King - Two Copies Promotional (White Label) & Retail
Up for auction are two copies of King Crimson's In the Court of the Crimson King - one the 1978 retail version (SD 19155 reissue) and the other, a 1969 original release white label promotional copy (SD 8245). The retail copy is in excellent to excellent + condition. The promo copy is in fair condition and a has significant scratches to the vinyl. The first track on side one, 21st Century Schizoid Man skips badly and is unplayable. The remainder of the album is playable but there are multiple visual marks, scuffs and scratches and the surface sounds can be heard above the music. The cover is in rough condition as can be seen in the photos and there is no inner sleeve. Most of the seams are split or open. The retail copy is in great condition and includes the original sleeve. The record plays well and there are only a few very light surface scratches to the vinyl. The cover has scuffs and wear to the corners and there is one 3mm wear mark at the bottom back of the album cover. Otherwise, it is in clean condition.
