Description
Very nice 1st pressing copy of King Crimson’s all-time classic debut album from 1969, acknowledged as the first real ‘progressive rock’ long player. Matrices are Side 1: Av2 1 2 7, Side 2: B//3 1 1 67 11. Not a NM copy by any means but pretty good for its age and good value for the price.
Sleeve Ex/Ex+ Gatefold sleeve in fine condition for its age. No printer credits. Light rubbing only.
Labels Ex+ Very clean, no marks or writing. Light to moderate spindle traces.
Inner VG/VG+ Original blue Island company ‘Basing Street’ polylined bag. Record shop stamp on one side. Handling wear to the top edge.
Record Visually VG+/Ex-, nice shine to the vinyl. Some superficial hairlines visible in normal light, more so under a strong light. Fully play-tested and sounds at least very good, clear and detailed audio with some light crackle here and there. There are some light ticks coming from the left-hand channel in the latter part of ‘Epitaph’. There is also a momentary pop during ‘Moonchild’. No sticks or jumps on my deck.
(Same UK postage cost for up to 5 LP’s or 12” singles – please add to basket and request a total before paying)
