Description
Very nice 2nd pressing copy of King Crimson’s classic debut album from 1969 on the Island ‘pink rim’ label, catalogue number ILPS 9111. I would think that this copy dates from the early to mid-1970’s and has probably only been played a couple of times since then. Matrix numbers are A-4U/B-4U.
Sleeve Ex In very presentable condition throughout, just a small area of rubbing and sleeve compression at the top of the rear sleeve.
Labels Ex+/NM Very clean with just one or two spindle traces.
Inner VG+ Original plain white paper sleeve. Light handling wear and age yellowing.
Records Visually Ex/Ex+, lovely shine to the vinyl. Virtually no marks seen in normal light, just one tiny 2mm hairline at the end of Side 2 Track 1. The audio is at least VG+ throughout and is often much better than that. Some crackle at the beginning of each side but the sound is generally clear and powerful throughout, with superb definition. A great listen!
