King Crimson ?– In The Court Of The Crimson King UK Pink Island ILPS 9111 E.J.Day Gatefold sleeve
SIDE 1, ILPS 9111 A-2 1 2 10 SIDE 2, ILPS 9111 B-4 1 2 9 These are stamped not etched
The vinyl is in very good condition with a nice glossy sheen on both sides. There are 2 light hairline marks on side 2 which do not affect the quality of play but has a very visible hairline marks on side 1, on the last track Epitaph. please take a good look at picture 12. At the start of this track which is quiet you can hear a light click on the affected area however the album other than this plays near excellent with just some light background noise and the odd pop /click in quiet spots. and of course there are no skips or jumps. The gatefold sleeve was printed by E.J. Day and is also in very good condition. I have taken loads of pictures of the sleeve and as can be seen there is mainly light edge wear and there are no seam splits. There are no creases to the front or back of the gatefold but there is a crease on the inside and I ask you to look at picture 4. The labels i would say are spotless and do not show any marks around the centre hole and obviously has had little play so it is a shame that there is a visible mark. The inner sleeve i believe is the original and is also in very good condition with no problems. The record will be posted in a Defenapack vinyl LP box and plastic outer cover.
