DESCRIPTION: King Crimson LP- In The Wake Of Poseidon. Original 1970 issue in textured gate fold sleeve with pink "i" labels, 140 gm vinyl and A1/B1 matrix. Comes with a blue island poly lined inner. Many more Prog/Kraut/Kosmische to come in next few weeks. Packed this weighs just over 500gm so overseas postage is as for double. Postage cost includes box/cruciform mailer and tracking.: LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Island ILPS 9127: YEAR OF RELEASE: 1970. COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK: CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): VG+/VG. Vinyl is really clean with a nice sheen. It has one this light surface superficial line on side 2 that prevents better visual grade but has no effect on playback. I think i can grade this VG+ not just VG, its a lot better than that.. Played majority of this this morning on my budget deck. Sits flat on the turntable. Plays EX. Sounds really clean, clear and loud. Definitely one of the cleanest sounding copies of this that I have had. Even the very quietest passages have only an occasional random soft tick. Cover is also in nice shape. A very decent VG. It is firm and square and has light to moderate edge wear , light corner wear and light creasing. It has a few light ripples to upper part of sleeve. Very clean inside of gate fold sleeve, pretty much faultless. Really clean pink rim labels- check out the photos. No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears. PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER PROG/KRAUT/PSYCH/METAL/CLASSIC/HARD ROCK LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE. EACH EXTRA SINGLE DISC LP IS ROUGHLY £1.75 TO EUROPE, £2.75 TO THE AMERICAS AND £3.25 TO THE REST OF THE WORLD.
