Description
KING CRIMSON - IN THE WAKE OF POSEIDON
ILPS 9127 1ST Pressing / Textured Cover / Pink Label
Matrix Stamps: ILPS 1927 A//1 - B//1
Discogs: First press with pink labels and a textured gatefold cover. On the cover the tracks B2a to B2d appear as one segued track, on the label they have separate track numbers.
Grading (using the record collector guide): Vinyl is Very Good, showing noticeable surface marks but no deterioration in sound quality. Playback on my Yamaha Natural Sound is VG+, it's a great listen with only a little crackle on "Peace - a beginning" and "end". This happens to my Dad's copy, so I know for a fact it's not been played much in the last 35 years!
Sleeve and paper labels are Very Good - see photos 1 to 3 - please note the owners name on the inside of the gatefold and also a corresponding small printed number "34" on the A label.
