Description

Lovely copy of Crimson’s 2nd album dating from 1970. This is a later pressing on the ‘pink rim’ Island label. The textured cover is immaculate, the best I have ever seen, with the record not too far behind. Matrices are A-4U/B-3U.

Gatefold sleeve – NM Absolutely superb throughout.

Labels – Ex+ Some spindlewear but very few plays?

Inner sleeve – Ex Original plain white bag.

Record – Visually Ex+ with superb ‘as new’ sheen. Just the lightest of sleeve-removal hairlines seen under a strong light. Playback is not quite as good, grading at VG/Ex-. There is some crackle at the very beginning of both sides and some random clicks for a few seconds during Side 1 Track 2 – I cannot see any reason for this (pressing fault?). Otherwise the audio is very good indeed, clear & sharp with excellent detail.
